About the Rock

The Newtown Girls Softball Association is a volunteer, non-profit organization for girls ages 5 through 18.  All the funds collected and raised go directly back into running the program.

The athletes that participate benefit by having a year-round program and we try to find a team/league for each individual’s skills and desires that includes in-house, recreational, travel, and GOLD level softball.

To promote the game and help jump start where it all began for many of our Rock players - we offer an In-House Program. The in-house season begins in April with practices and games typically ending around mid-June, just before the end of the Council Rock School District year end.

For the ROCK Travel Program, the travel teams play and practice year-round.  The ROCK brand is recognized nationally and considered one of the top programs in Eastern Pennsylvania.  The GOLD team coached by Joe Garvey is always center stage and competing at the highest level.  Our Travel teams’ range in age from 10U to 18U and we even offer a 23U team for our returning college students who are looking to play over the summer.
